The primary purpose of the Mother Teresa Shelter Inc. is to provide shelter and supportive services to homeless persons during the day in the hope that they will gain their dignity and stability. Wrap around programs are designed to help meet the demands of our homeless population.
The Mother Teresa Shelter provides comprehensive, community-based outreach services to homeless individuals and families, creating opportunities to help break the cycle of homelessness.
The Mother Teresa Transitional Housing for Men provides housing for 24 single men for a period not exceeding 24 months. This community-based program combines transitional housing, and supportive services which are intended to create permanent housing and individual self-sufficiency.
Our ultimate goals are self-sufficiency, independence, and family reunification.
