The Mother Teresa Shelter is a day shelter offering essential supportive services to the homeless. Our programs are tailored to address the specific
needs and challenges faced by the homeless community, ensuring they receive the care and assistance necessary for their well-being.
Breakfast is served daily from
8 - 9 a.m. For registered clients, brunch is served daily at
10:30 a.m. and an afternoon
snack is served at 2 p.m.
Clients can wash their clothes, take showers, and receive assistance with personal hygiene.
Each individual receives a clean change of seasonally appropriate clothing and shoes.
Lockers are made available for clients to store their personal belongings.
Phone and internet service are provided to communicate with family and relatives or to search for job opportunities.
Reading, writing, art therapy, music therapy, horticultural gardening, and a computer lab, which includes email and job search resources are available.
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Anger Management support groups are available.
Bus tokens are provided to help clients respond to various appointments on time.
