Hours of Operation:
The Shelter is open seven days a week from 8 am to 4 pm

We are a non-profit organization. We receive financial help and support from:
  • Individuals & Families
  • Groups
  • Churches
  • Foundations
  • Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi
We Offer
Lockers - Lockers are made available to the clients to store their personal belongings. We currently have 100 lockers for clients to use.

Showers and Laundry - Clients can wash their clothes, take a shower and get help with their personal hygiene

Phone and Internet Service - Phone and internet service allow clients to communicate with their families and relatives, and search for job opportunities.

Media - Library, TV, radio, and newspapers are provided to keep them informed and instructed.

Bus Tokens - Bus tokens help clients respond to various appointments on time.

Food - We serve snacks twice a day. On weekends, different church groups provide breakfast.


Other Services
We provide free blankets, jackets, coats, dresses, toiletries, etc.

First Aid assistance is made available.

We have a Representative Payee Program that helps the clients to manage their SSA, SSI, or VA benefits.

We provide referral letters to other agencies, clinics, etc.

MHMR diagnoses psychiatric disorders and prescribes medicine while the Health Dept. conducts blood tests towards diagnosing HIV.
